Principals: Noel and Jean Livesey (South African) have been working in the Philippines for more than 20 years with the Manobo mountain tribe in Mindanao, teaching sustainable agricultural skills and sponsoring education. At any given time, several Manobo people are staying in their home for long periods of time and in need of financial support.

Because the Liveseys come from a country that itself experiences much poverty and hardship, sustained funds are difficult to secure from home. Although they work with a mission—Overseas Mission Fellowship (OMF)—they have been only 50% funded for years. It was their son who waited for the dentist and their story that formed the seed of the idea behind PeaceDiviners™. At the time OMF did not permit them to solicit funds, so they had to wait for people to recognize their needs.

The Liveseys do not qualify for PeaceDiviners’ grants as they are part of a larger mission. We are seeking a match with a private philanthropist partner. Learn more.
